Police Officer

If you are looking to begin a career in policing you will undergo 28-weeks of paid training. You will then learn on the job for 18-months to build the foundational skills of a Police Officer.

It's not too late to reignite your career. If you have been a Police Officer within the last five years and have completed your probationary service, you can apply now to rejoin the WA Police Force.

If you are currently a Police Officer in another Australian state or New Zealand, opportunities are available. We value and recognise your skills and experience, enabling you to continue your policing career in WA.
